It's Caturday! Meet Mindy
Consider adopting a wonderful cat this weekend from the Humane Society of Forsyth County.
Meet Mindy, today's Caturday cat, a gorgeous short hair female tortie born around Aug. 13, 2011. She currently lives at the adoption center with lots of kitty roommates. Mindy is super friendly, loves being petted, loves to talk and gets along great with other cats. She enjoys taking long naps after chasing her toy mice. Consider adopting this sweet kitty who's been patiently waiting for a new home and would make a great addition to yours.

- The HSFC announces a new adoption venue for dogs at the Lakewood 400 Antiques Market (1321 Atlanta Highway in Cumming). On the third Saturday of each month, the Humane Society hosts dog adoptions – dates for 2012 are: Nov. 17 and Dec. 15. We work very hard to make fostering a positive experience for anyone willing to provide temporary care for one more animal. We accommodate special circumstances such as vacation-coverage, switch-out for unsuitable matches, short-term-only restrictions, breed-specific preferences and even "low-shed” or "housetrained-only" requests. We have dedicated Dog and Cat Foster Program Coordinators who are available even for late night emergency phone calls from foster parents. Read here for more details about fostering with us.
