It's Caturday! Meet Ramses

Consider adopting a wonderful cat this weekend from the Humane Society of Forsyth County.

Meet Ramses, today's Caturday cat. Ramses is a handsome gray and white male born around March 1, 2002. He currently lives at the adoption center where he gets along well with the other kitties and especially visitors. Everything about him is quite handsome, but his eyes are the best feature -- sooo big, bright and golden. He's an affectionate boy who would love to cuddle with you on the couch while watching an episode of Animal Planet. Ramses is such an easygoing guy you'll hardly know you have a cat. He eagerly awaits his forever home.

Call the HSFC at 770-887-6480 for more information about these wonderful companions or to set up a meet and greet.

  • The HSFC announces a new adoption venue for dogs at the Lakewood 400 Antiques Market (1321 Atlanta Highway in Cumming). On the third Saturday of each month, the Humane Society hosts dog adoptions – the next date is Dec. 15. For directions to the Lakewood 400 Antiques Market, visit www.lakewoodantiques.com.

We work very hard to make fostering a positive experience for anyone willing to provide temporary care for one more animal. We accommodate special circumstances such as vacation-coverage, switch-out for unsuitable matches, short-term-only restrictions, breed-specific preferences and even "low-shed” or "housetrained-only" requests. We have dedicated Dog and Cat Foster Program Coordinators who are available even for late night emergency phone calls from foster parents. Read here for more details about fostering with us.

Editor's Note: All animals from the HSFC shelter are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and micro chipped before adoption. If anytime within two weeks a pet is not working out, HSFC will take them back and return your adoption fee, they may however, be returned at ANY time with loss of that fee.
