Whiz Kid: Nick Davis, Laid Back and Full of Ambition

Nick Davis is an Eagle Scout getting ready to fly away to the University of Georgia.

He's laid back, but his storage of ambition is filled to the brim and it's anything but passive. Nick Davis has earned every merit badge available to him as an Eagle Scout and he's taking his determination to the classroom at UGA in the fall.

Accomplishments:

Nick Davis has recently been accepted to the University of Georgia and it's easy to see why. The 18-year-old senior at Forsyth Central High School has been the recipient of two scholarships including one from Sawnee EMC for $3,500 and $1,000 dollar Clarice Bagwell Eagle Scholarship.

Nick is a top student in his class at but somehow he still finds time to remain committed to the values of being a community service oriented Eagle Scout. His commitment has certainly contributed to Forsyth County's ranking near the top of the list for one of the most desirable communities in which to live.

If you ask Nick how he does it, his answer is direct and as honest as it should be for an Eagle Scout who doesn't mince words.

"Life is too short to not experience all that you can. My goals are to continue to live life to the fullest."

If you take a moment to ponder Nick's quote, his goal is easier said than done for many of us.

Nick Davis must be doing something right, because so far, life has led him to some of the greatest accomplishments a young man can set out to achieve.
