Boat or no boat, organizers say don’t miss this family-fun event with pirate costumes, an armada of the finest high performance boats from all over the country, music and excitement.  Also on Saturday evening, there will be fireworks and the only laser show at Lake Lanier all year.

"It’s destined to be a fun and exciting weekend for all at Lake Lanier Islands Resort," said Dan Jape, one of the organizers.

Lanier Partners of North Georgia is a nonprofit, charitable organization, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children in Georgia.  Last year, the event raised approximately $174,000 and this year’s goal is $300,000. Benefactors for the event this year include Camp Sunshine, the children of Naval Special Warfare Kids, as well as the children at The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hall County.

There are numerous ways to get involved:

  • As a Business – Set up a booth exhibit at Vendor Village - Grand Hall or make a much appreciated donation.
  • As a Boater – Register to take part in the Poker Run and join the weekend of fun events.
  • As a Lover of Lakes – Come out any time during the weekend with friends and family to enjoy a fun and exciting time at the lake.  Saturday, July 20, is a great day to do so.
