Man's Best Friend Friday in Forsyth

"Give Back Day, Throw a Dog a Bone" is coming soon to the Avenue Forsyth - details below.

Augustine is a Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated birthdate of January 25, 2011. She is anxiously waiting for someone to adopt her and shower her with the love and attention she so desperately needs. She is young and energetic and would enjoy someone who likes to jog or go on long walks. A fenced yard would be nice too. Augustine dreams of a home with lots of chew toys and a comfy bed to rest on.

Henrietta is a Pit Bull Terrier mix with an estimated birthdate of March 26, 2011. She is a friendly young lady that thrives on being loved on. She might not have received much attention at her former home, but she's getting it now. HSFC rescued Henrietta and her two pups last spring from a local Animal Control unit. Her puppies have been adopted and she is patiently waiting for the love and security of her forever home. Henrietta is an escape artist and will need someone with a watchful eye. She does well with most dogs. She would prefer a home without young children.

Clementine is a pretty Hound mix with an estimated birthdate of November 15, 2011. Clementine is a super sweet, mellow cuddle bug. It has been very easy to socialize her with dogs and cats (and even her foster family’s rabbit!), as she is very submissive towards them - yet still very playful.  She seems most comfortable with women and children over men, yet it does not take much effort from men to win her over (a little treat and sweet talk and she's set).

Heather is a Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthdate of March 27, 2011. Heather is mild mannered and adores having her tummy rubbed! It's hard to imagine, but this sweet girl was rescued after being found tied to a tree and abandoned. Heather is a young gal who loves people, snuggling, kisses, and playing tug of war.
