Overnight lane closures are scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 20, to resurface GA 400 from Highway 306 in north Forsyth County to Highway 53 in Dawson County, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announced in a press release.

The project, approximately 8.7 miles long, entails removing one inch of asphalt one night and replacing it with new asphalt the next night for a smoother driving surface for motorists. GDOT urges you to use caution as you drive through the work zone.
