Patch Pets, Bonded Pair Looking for a Home

Read more about this loving pets from the Humane Society of Forsyth County.

Groucho and Gretta are two long hair black Chihauhaus approximately 7- and 8-years-old who can only be adopted out TOGETHER as they are a bonded pair. They were found abandoned and starving by a police officer. They are now healthy and strong, about seven pounds each, playful and very affectionate. The male is a bit shy yet loves to be with people he learns to trust, the female is immediately friendly and neither dog is in any way aggressive. They are house trained and walk together on leashes. They are exceptionally sweet, loving and peaceful dogs. They need a somewhat quiet environment and may adjust better in a home without other pets. They are spayed and neutered, have had all their shots, have had recent "dentals" and blood work and have chips. They stuck together through their terrible ordeal and now they want a forever home together and with a loving family.

Gretchen, a gorgeous short hair gray female tabby born around July 3, 2006. She currently lives at Forsyth Animal Hospital in Dr. Wood's office. She would love to be the only cat in your house, and she isn't too sure about dogs - but if she found the right one - she could learn to love him or her. Gretchen loves petted and is a great lap cat She enjoys taking long naps after chasing her toy mice. She is a very sweet kitty who's been patiently waiting for a new home and would make a great addition to yours.

Diez is a male Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated birthdate of September 13, 2010. He is a honey of a boy! He has lots of love to give and he looks forward to the joy of a loving home. He's a bit timid but with kindness he can overcome that. His idea of fun includes chasing tennis balls, rolling in the grass, going for walks, and enjoying a chew toy while sitting next to someone who loves him. Diez will make a wonderful family pet and does well with other dogs.

Tweety is a black female born around May 30, 2010. She currently lives at the adoption center where she gets along very well with nine kittie roommates. It is unknown how she ended up alone and abandoned - she was a skinny little girl when she arrived and extremely shy. But thanks to her caregivers, she's come a long way. Now she runs to greet everyone. She's cute and affectionate and likes to "talk" visitors into playing feathers and laser tag with her. But nothing will be nicer than to find that special human who will take care of Tweety in her forever home.
