Patch Pets of Forsyth County

Meet four companions from the Humane Society of Forsyth County that could be your next forever pet.

Schooner, a.k.a. Elvis, is a male Hound mix with an estimated birthdate of April 6, 2010. He is a great dog and great with children. He loves to be around people and relishes attention. He enjoys chasing bugs and rolling in the grass on hot sunny days. Currently he's working on learning house manners. Schnooner dreams of being part of a loving family where he is well cared for and will be loved back.

Romeo is a handsome gray and white male born around August 8, 2011. He lives with a loving foster family where he is learning to be a great house cat. He is a loving, sweet and. playful. He will roll around on his back trying to get your attention! Romeo patiently awaits his forever home.

Simon is a Lab/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with an estimated birthdate of Oct. 15, 2011. If you're a runner or a jogger, Simon might be the dog you're looking for! He is young and very energetic. He has been with HSFC for a while and he gets very excited when he receives attention or gets to go outside. He would be too rambunctious for a home with young children. Simon has a lot of love to give.

A favorite quote from one of our board members is,

We are only limited in the number of animals we can help by three things: money, volunteers and space.

A strong Foster Program addresses the space limitation. We receive new calls daily from owners needing to surrender their pets, kind hearted individuals who have taken in a stray, and caring animal control workers hoping to avoid euthanizing dogs or cats in their overcrowded county shelters. A strong Foster Program addresses the space limitation and saves lives.
