Paws for Cumming Patch Pets of the Week
Saturday is always "Adoption Day" (Dogs and Cats) at Petco, 2345 Market Place Boulevard, Cumming, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meet Buttercup, Winston and Duchess, this week's Cumming Patch pets.
This sweet tabby is Buttercup who was brought to the shelter as a stray, pregnant and scared. This wonderful feline is a sweet girl and just wants a warm, indoor home to call her own. She gets along well with her kitty roommates and loves to be petted. Buttercup's kittens; Mary, Sarah, and Hannah were born in the safety of the shelter, but would rather not spend their lives there. Winston is a lover and this angel somehow lost his way from home, and came to us as a stray. He is extremely loving and gets along well with children and other dogs. He would really like a chance at that forever home again...preferably with a fence where he is sure not to get lost.

Duchess is a beautiful lady. She is about 2-years-old and came to the shelter with all her kittens-but now they are all gone to new homes and she is all alone. She loves her kitty roommates and gets along well with everyone. She loves affection and would just like to have a forever home of her own now.

Tuesday, Nov. 22 - Volunteer orientation at HSFC Thrift Store, 168 Tri-County Plaza, Cumming, 7 p.m. Click here for map and directions. Please complete their Volunteer Application prior to attending.
Saturday, Nov. 26 - Eat at at 2619 Freedom Pkwy in Cumming to raise money for the animals.
Friday, Dec. 16 - The third annual HSFC give back day. The Avenue Forsyth from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shop for holiday gifts and automatically give back 15 percent to the Humane Society of Forsyth County.
Editor's Note: All animals from the HSFC shelter are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and micro chipped before adoption. If anytime within two weeks a pet is not working out, HSFC will take them back and return your adoption fee, they may however, be returned at ANY time with loss of that fee.
