Paws To Consider Your Pets Of The Week
The Humane Society of Forsyth County is a no-kill shelter where many loving pets are waiting for a forever family. We'll feature dogs and cats you'll fall in love with every week and remember, the shelter is now open daily 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Fiji is a Jack Russell-Parson Russell-Manchester Terrier mix, born February 2008. He is an adorable little fellow who loves to play with dog toys and other dogs. Fiji is pretty independent and would not be a good fit with cats or small children.
Allie is a petite British Shorthair female with beautiful Calico markings, born May 2008. She is affectionate and playful and is good with other cats. She is truly a special cat who deserves a loving home.
Middie is a red-orange tabby born September 2007. She looks like a miniature Florida panther, but with a more angular face and a slight ticking to her beautiful reddish coat. Middie is quite unique as well—only 20% of orange cats are female. She is shy at first, but after she gets to know you she’ll come running to jump into your lap for one-on-one time. She’s also curious, playful and does get along with other cats, but has not been exposed to dogs. Small children also make her nervous, so a home without kids is best.
