Paws to Consider Your Pets of the Week, May 21

Today the Humane Society of Forsyth County introduces us to Blackie and siblings, Sugar Spice and Sweetie, Cumming Patch's featured pets of the week.

Blackie has beautiful long hair and is considered a tuxedo cat. He is one of five siblings and is looking for his forever home. We are not sure about his reaction to other dogs, but he gets along very well with all his other kitty roommates.

Sugar Spice is a sweet lady who is fully grown and past her puppy stage and would LOVE to be a part of your family. Labs are a playful breed and love to be with their family. Due to an unfortunate divorce, she and her sister, Sweetie were left in the care of HSFC. While they have a great foster parent--these sweet dogs would love a home to call their own for the rest of their lives--together would be great! However, they would be happy just to have that special love in their lives once again.

Sweetie is the super sweet sister of Sugar Spice. These sweet babies were given up during a divorce and are quite lost without an owner. They are seniors born on March 1, 2002 and are very calm and well mannered; however being healthy girls they still love to play! They would love to be together but would really just like a loving home! You can speak to the staff about multiple adoption discounts for these two sweet girls.

Today is “Adoption Day” (Dogs and Cats) at , 2345 Market Place Blvd., Cumming from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and off-site (Cats only) adoptions at Rucker Pet & Wild Bird on Bethelview, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Thursday, May 26 - Volunteer Orientation at their Thrift Store at 7 p.m.
