Paws to Consider Your Pets of the Week, Sept. 27

The Bark & Boogie Ball is coming to Lanier Tech Convention Center, Saturday, Oct. 22.

Take a moment and paws to consider these two adorable pets. Meet Jesse and Tom Cruise, this weeks Cumming Patch pets.

Jesse is a chow mix about 3-years-old and is a sweetie. She really would like someone to curl up with and is a perfect companion to do so. Jessie gets along well with everyone, and will make a fantastic addition to any family. Jesse is in foster care and her foster family has all the details about her personality. Call the shelter at 770-887-6480 to arrange a meet and greet or get more information. 

Tom Cruise is truly a lover. He was found as a stray wandering in a neighborhood and brought to the HSFC campus. Tom likes everyone--even other cats, though sometimes they don't share the same affections. He loves too be held and petted and is great with children too. At 2-years-old, Tom has many years of love to give and waits patiently for his forever home.  Please contact rescue@forsythpets.org about this wonderful boy if you are interested.

Saturday, Oct. 1 is “Adoption Day” (Dogs and Cats) at , 2345 Market Place Boulevard, Cumming, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offsite adoptions at Rucker Pet & Wild Bird (Cats only), 5456 Bethelview Road, Cumming, also 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 15, Doggie Palooza at Rucker Pet & Wild Bird on Bethelview Road.

Saturday, Oct. 22, Bark and Boogie Ball at Lanier Tech Convention Center.

Editor's Note: All animals from the HSFC shelter are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and micro chipped before adoption.

The Bark and Boogie Ball is one event that you will not want to miss. The evening is started witha 17 piece Band called Big Band Atlanta. So you have it big band music. The the evening switches to Band X which is Music from the 70's and 80's. Chef Kern's is serving a gormet meal, Open bar supplied by Pops Liquor located om 141. Incrediable silent and live auctions, So go to barkandboogieball.com and purchase your tickets or donate money.
