Seniors Invited to Healthy Aging and Fitness Fair

Heads up seniors! You can get free health screenings, chair massages and yummy fruit thanks to a Forsyth County Senior Services event on Tuesday, June 18.

The second annual Healthy Aging and Fitness Fair if for adults age 50+, and will be held at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center from 10 a.m. to noon.

Forsyth County Senior Services is once again offering seniors an opportunity to receive important health information at the Second Annual Healthy Aging and Fitness Fair on Tuesday, June 18. The free event is for adults 50+ and will be held at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center from 10 a.m. to noon.

Attendees can enjoy free fruit and take advantage of free health screenings, wellness information, chair massage and reflexology, and exercise demonstrations. 

The health screenings will check an individual’s balance, blood pressure, glucose and hearing, while exercise demonstrations will include Tai Chi and Yoga.

“We are very excited to once again offer this event for our community’s seniors,” Senior Services Director Michael Bohn said in a press release. “Those in attendance will have the opportunity to obtain a variety of valuable wellness information.”
