Two Dogs Up For Adoption at Forsyth Humane Society

An American Staffordshire Terrier/Affenpinscher mix and a Lab/Shar Pei mix are both up for adoption.

Smoochie is a female American Staffordshire Terrier/Affenpinscher mix with an estimated date of birth of June 22, 2012. Her foster family says she is pretty special. She has been battling a non-contagious form of mange for the past few months, and she's almost won. You can't even tell she was ever sick. She is crate trained and is in the process of being house trained, but she is a quick learner.

Since she is still a pup, she can be pretty energetic. She enjoys playing with balls, running in her fenced-in yard and playing with her "siblings." She is not in a formal training class, but her foster mom is teaching her to walk nicely on a leash and other basic commands. She enjoys their short daily training sessions and listen very well. Her ideal forever family would keep working with her and give her daily walks.

Streaker is a male Lab/Shar Pei mix with an estimated date of birth of Feb. 12, 2011. Streaker is good with other dogs and loves kids. As an added bonus, he is house trained too. Streaker has a lot of energy and would love a big fenced in back yard to run around in.

Streaker seems to like other dogs, but cats are unknown.  Based on his boarding potty habits, it is expected he is house trained or would easily be house trained. Streaker loves other dogs, he loves people and walks good on the leash.
