Upgraded Intersections in North Forsyth Open Friday

Road improvements will help motorists see along SR 369 as they decide to enter or cross the intersection.

The upgraded intersections of Waldrip Road and State Route 369, and Waldrip Circle and State Route 369 in North Forsyth County will open to traffic Friday evening.

“Crews will be working today [Thursday] and tomorrow [Friday] along State Route 369. Please avoid this area if possible while work concludes. By evening tomorrow [Friday] both intersections will be open for your use,” said Georgia DOT District Construction Engineer, Randall Davis in a statement.

Crews began working on the upgrades since Sept. 30, 2008, said Teri Pope, spokesperson with GA DOT in an e-mail to Cumming Patch.
