"With the opening of we just weren't able to utilize that area," Crow said. "It was very, very tight last year, so we're glad we were able to move it just up the street to the conference center."

Ram Maddi and his family told Cumming Patch the festival was great.

"It was fun for the entire family especially for my 6-year-old daughter and my 1-year-old son," said Maddi. "We have tasted all the different Flavors of Forsyth County – it was awesome."

Little Asia Mauldin told us her favorite food was a sub sandwich and mom Amber said, It's been very hot, but fun."

The weather was great during the majority of the food festival, but by the end of the event a storm rolled in and dampened things for vendors, volunteers and visitors.

This year's event had about 30 food vendors, 21 artisan booths and entertainment was provided by radio station 92.9 davefm, Audio Candy Experience, Riley Biederer and Last Five Standing.
