Viewfinder: Veterans Honored and Remembered at Cumming Memorial Day Ceremonies
Under overcast skies Forsyth County and the City of Cumming honor its fallen during Friday's Memorial Day Ceremonies.
The City of Cumming and Forsyth County held its 2011 Memorial Day Ceremonies Friday at the Veterans War Memorial located at 301 Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Cumming (see story).
The threat of rain lingered, but that did not stop veterans, families, friends, city and county officials from attending.
"We estimate there were 500-600 today," said Alison Smith, city employee and event organizer.
