Young Cumming Actors To Perform in 'Shrek the Musical'

CYT Atlanta has put together a cast of 82 actors, ages 8 to 18, for its Fall 2013 production of Shrek the Musical. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, the show will bring the hilarious story of everyone’s favorite ogre to life on the stage.  Shrek the Musical runs Nov. 8 to 17.

For its 9th season, CYT Atlanta’s cast of 8- to 18-year-olds will entertain all with this family-friendly show. Local youth from Alpharetta, Cumming, Johns Creek, Milton and Suwanee won parts through auditions in August. Full of all-new songs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery, Shrek the Musical is part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun.

Shrek the Musical will be performed at The Milton Center, 86 School Drive in Alpharetta. Tickets are $12 to 15 and can be bought online at the CYT Atlanta website.
