2012 Business Expo Coming Soon

The 2012 Business Expo, hosted by the , is coming to the  Thursday, Aug. 16.

The event is a unique opportunity for businesses to gain exposure for their products and services while enhancing their customer base, a press release stated.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to learn from Georgia’s driving business leaders and identify the latest products and services available to meet their competitive challenges.

The expo, now in its fourth year, is basically a trade show for businesses large and small, according to Jimmy Lane, the chamber's director of member services.

"They can range from the one man-handy man working out of his basement to the Northside Hospitals to Tyson Foods," he said.

The expo is designed to benefit all types of businesses and there will be plenty of room for businesses to showcase their products and goods.

"Typically we have 75 to 90 booths," Lane said. "We've never had an issue with filling up the booth space and this year is no different from that. We're probably about 75 to 80 percent complete.

In addition to the networking and promotional opportunities, other features include a full day of speakers, awards and prizes.

“Two aspects we are excited to include are a working lunch prior to the expo and the chamber’s largest Business After Hours event of the year,” said Jason Mock, the chamber's director of small business services.
