Business After Hours to Host World Games Athletes

Chamber joins with Fulton County to celebrate Special Olympics athletes.

April is an exciting month for Business After Hours, the is hosting their largest event of the year in conjunction with the North Fulton County Chamber of Commerce. Three special guests will be in attendance, one of whom is Forsyth County's Female Athlete of the Year Melissa Middleton ().

Joining Melissa will be Christopher Currere and Forsyth Central graduate Daniel Hester, all representing Georgia and the United States at the Special Olympic World Games in Greece this June. Despite their disabilities, Daniel and Christopher will be competing in their favorite sport, power lifting. Melissa excels in table tennis, floor hockey and basketball, and enjoys cheering as well as becoming an aspiring musician. Both Daniel and Christopher share an interest in photography, and Christopher is in the process of starting his own photography business, Picture Perfect Photography.

Business After Hours is honored to have these athletes join them for their April 12 networking event, held at Dekalb Office Environments, 1320 Ridgeland Pkwy, Alpharetta. The event will take place between 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. The cost (pay at the door) is $5 for members, $30 for non-members and reservations are not required.
