Business Expo Returning to Cumming

Business owners encouraged to participate in the networking Aug. 8 event.

A staple opportunity for local businesses returns to Cumming on Aug. 8 when the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce hosts the 2013 Business Expo at the Forsyth Conference Center.

Business owners will be able to gain exposure and learn from business leaders.

"The 2013 Business Expo is beneficial to all types of businesses," said Jason Mock, the chamber's Director of Small Business Services, in a press release. “It allows exhibitors to showcase their products and goods to a large group of people at one time.”

A working lunch sponsored by Panera Bread with keynote speaker Mark McGraw will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the expo. McGraw will speak on “How to Get the Most Out of Your Day!” All are invited to attend the working lunch for $10. Pre-registration is available through the chamber website.

Registration includes free admission to the expo.

The expo will include awards, prizes, networking, promotional opportunities and an Expo After Hours at 4 p.m.

Booth registration is $600 for chamber members until July 31.
