Community Business Bank Expands in Cumming

Community Business Bank expands to two locations in Cumming.

Community Business Bank (CBB), headquartered in Cumming, has entered into an arrangement with Signature Bank to assume the depository relationships and building at its location 505 Peachtree Parkway.

“We are pleased to have closed this transaction with Signature Bank, assuming the core deposits and taking over the location. said Carter Barrett, president and CEO of Community Business Bank in a news release. “As a Cumming, Georgia based community bank our team has a great deal of experience operating in Forsyth County and throughout the surrounding communities.

This will make it the bank's second location in the community, the first located at 407 East Maple Street in downtown Cumming.

According to Barrett, Signature Bank’s demographics within the county and customer profile is consistent with many of CBB's current customers.

"We understand how to service those customers and business owners quite well," he said. "We are pleased with this financial transaction and we look forward to quickly assimilating the branch’s customers into the CBB family."

CBB is locally owned, locally managed and locally invested. The location will operate with normal hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as by appointment.
