Developers Announce Plans for New Senior Living Community in South Forsyth

It will create 50 jobs and make a $20 million capital investment.

Aspire Development Partners have announced plans for a new senior living community in South Forsyth County. The plan calls for 100 units of a mix of assisted-living and memory-care residences, according to the press release.

Aspire has partnered with The Arbor Company to manage and market the community, which is expected to open in early 2014.

The site for the community is located in South Forsyth County on Peachtree Parkway near the Laurel Springs Golf & Country Club community. The community will offer convenient access to major highways, shopping, retail, health care and other services important to senior residents.

“We are very excited about bringing this quality of senior living to Forsyth County especially considering the exceptional growth and development in the area,” David R. Hink, managing partner for Aspire, said in the release. “The people and leaders in this community have been very welcoming and our hope is that Aspire’s innovative and integrative approach to senior living will be an exciting new and value-adding asset to the area.”

The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce is pleased the development is joining the community, the release says.

"Forbes.com recently named Forsyth County the seventh fastest-growing county in America. With our community’s growth and strong emphasis on the health care industry, a new senior living community is a benefit to the area," Director of the Healthcare Association of Forsyth County Jason Mock said in the release. "This development will also benefit our area by adding 50 jobs and more than $20 million in capital investment."

Aspire Development Partners is a Georgia-based developer of senior living communities throughout the Southeastern U.S. Aspire’s experience spans the complete senior living spectrum including active adult, independent living, assisted living, memory care and senior “campus” communities, including Continuing Care Retirement Communities, according to the release.

Since 1995, the principals of Aspire have developed senior living properties in Georgia including the Dogwood Forest assisted living properties and the Marshes of Skidaway CCRC. Aspire’s senior living communities are uniquely designed to meet the needs of its residents as well as the needs of the surrounding communities. All Aspire communities focus on wellness, quality of life and social engagement.

The Arbor Company has over two decades of dedication and experience in the development, management and marketing services of senior living communities, the release says. The principals of The Arbor Company have a combination of experience, talents and in-depth industry knowledge that makes them exceptionally well qualified to serve their clients' needs.
