The 2013 Business Expo, hosted by the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce, takes place Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Forsyth Conference Center.

The expo, now in its fifth year, begins at 1 p.m. with the 'Expo After Hours' at 4 p.m. The event is geared to provide an environment for businesses to enhance their relationships, research the market for leading products and services, and learn about the most innovative business practices.

"The 2013 Business Expo is beneficial to all types of businesses," said Jason Mock, the chamber's Director of Small Business Services, in a press release. “It allows exhibitors to showcase their products and goods to a large group of people at one time.”

A working lunch sponsored by Panera Bread with keynote speaker Mark McGraw will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the expo. McGraw will speak on “How to Get the Most Out of Your Day!” All are invited to attend the working lunch for $10.

Doors to the expo open at 1 p.m. and will include awards, prizes, networking, and promotional opportunities. It's free to attend the event.

To register or for more information, visit the chamber website.
