GameStop Hiring Managers, Game Advisor, Seasonal Employees

GameStop is the world's largest multichannel retailer of video games, and has about 130 stores in Georgia, including two in Cumming—410 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 256, and 1061 Market Place Boulevard.

The seasonal positions for which GameStop is currently and will be recruiting through December include in-store Game Advisors, consumer electronic technicians within its refurbishment operation center, and warehouse personnel within the company's two distribution centers. This year's total number of seasonal hires is in line with the number of hires GameStop made during the same period in 2012.

In the weeks leading up to the holidays, GameStop experiences a substantial peak in the number of customers it services online and within its retail stores. As a result, ensuring that there is an adequate number of talented Game Advisor staff to support this increase in store traffic is a priority in order to maintain the high quality of customer service shoppers expect from GameStop.

In Cumming, GameStop currently has an opening for Store Manager, according to its website. It's also seeking an Assistant Store Manager in nearby Gainesville and a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Senior Game Advisor in nearby Buford.
