Motovario Expansion Adds Jobs in Forsyth County

The Italian manufacturer added $4 million in a new capital investment to expand its U.S. headquarters.

Forsyth County is getting 35 more jobs through a $4 million new capital investment by an existing manufacturer in the community. Motovario Inc. has expanded its U.S. headquarters, which are located on Bluegrass Lakes Parkway.

Established in 1965 in the town of Formigine, at the heart of the Modena industrial district, Motovario has grown to become one of the most important Italian and European manufacturers of gear units for industrial and civil applications, according to a news release by the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce.

Motovario’s new facility is adjacent to the headquarters of such international manufacturers as Enervex, Hansgrohe and Lonza. The company hosted an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the location earlier this month.

“I picked Forsyth County because I was looking for a Chamber that was involved in the community and businesses. I felt that the Forsyth Chamber was very active and I was encouraged by them,” said Motovario President James Suh.

“We are thrilled that Motovario has expanded within our community,” said Linda Cole, chair of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors. “Their growth is a testament to the economic vitality of our community.”
