Communications Officer I-Entry Level, Forsyth County E-911 Center

Must be able to answers multiple telephone lines, to communicate effectively with persons requesting emergency and non-emergency assistance, to clearly relay information for dispatch or transfer calls appropriately. Ability to take appropriate action when represented with a routine call or a stressful life/death situation; remains calm under all circumstances. Maintain conversation with caller to obtain/verify pertinent information, to administer pre-arrival instructions and to provide comfort until assistance arrives, re-establishes calls on 911 hang-ups.

Maintains status of police, fire, EMS, and other responding units at all times to ensure safety of personnel involved, including those working accidents, fires, and hazardous incidents, as well as those on breaks. Must have aptitude to deal well in stressful situations. Performs administrative support tasks as required. Must be able to work shift work. Emergency 911 Centers operate 24/7, holidays, weekends. Shifts cannot be determined until time of hire.

High School diploma or GED; supplemented by little or no previous experience or training. Must successfully pass a background investigation, including a polygraph and psychological evaluation. Must be able to obtain GA P.O.S.T certification.  Typing speed of 30 words per minute required. Must be willing to work all shifts. This is a full-time position with an annual salary of
$30,228.64.

Drivers/Movers, Pair of Guys Movers

We are presently hiring Drivers/Movers, no CDL required. Multiple part-time and full-time positions are available.

As a Driver/Mover, you’ll partner together with our other experienced movers to provide the same professional customer service experience we’re known for in the handling of each and every one of our customer's possessions. This position provides an opportunity for those looking to display their general labor, marketing, and customer service talents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Correctly and safely moving furniture and household items, as well as packing and unpacking
  • Completing a walk through with clients upon arrival and completion
  • Completing accurate truck inventory and truck safety inspections

The ideal candidate will communicate professionally in English to clients and correctly complete client paperwork.

Basic math skills will be utilized, as well as the ability to lift heavy items (approximately 100lbs) while standing, sitting, crouching, climbing, walking, etc.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate stamina throughout the day and should be in excellent health, and will demonstrate good hand/eye coordination.

Previous mover experience is not required.
