Under the supervision of the CFO & Finance Director, the Accountant II is responsible for supporting the internal day-to-day financial operations of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain annual budget
• Record daily receipts
• Reconcile GL accounts and maintain financial schedules
• Reconcile investment statements and bank statements
• Revenue recognition and deferral
• Month end closing journal entries
• Assist in preparation of financial statements
• Assist with annual audit
• Prepare intercompany invoices
• Reconcile company credit cards
• Financial contact person for customers
• Other duties or projects as assigned
• Desired Skills & Experience
• Flexibility with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), practices and standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good verbal and writing skills
• Competency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an aptitude for learning new software
• Microsoft Dynamics SL is preferred
• Able to work overtime when necessary
