Contract-to-Hire Technical Writer/Jr. Level, ProEdit

ProEdit has a need for a junior-level technical writer to work in our Cumming, office. This is a full-time, onsite, contract-to-hire position. Technical writers are an integral part of our documentation team and work closely with the project managers and writers in our Cumming office, as well as at various client sites. The writer will develop a wide array of documents, including policies and procedures, website content, SOPs, white papers, software and hardware documentation, and training materials.

Shift Leader, Biscuits and Burgers

SUMMARY OF POSITION: To effectively lead the Restaurant toward the attainment of agreed-upon goals and profits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure standards constantly check to see if product quality, service, speed and cleanliness standards are met.
2. Insure restaurant is staffed properly and people are properly trained to do their jobs through effective use of training programs.
3. Provide leadership by engendering excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment to company objectives.
4. Insure that correct inventory levels are kept and all equipment is maintained in excellent condition through the use of approved vendors.
5. Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the performance of all phases of restaurant operations and technology.
6. Supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies as set out in the Operations Standards Manual.
7. Work with and motivate Team Members to perform up to their highest possible level of ability.

Lifeguards, Cumming Aquatic Center

Lifeguards: Must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification and be able to pass the lifeguarding skills test at the Cumming Aquatic Center.

Lifeguard/Instructors: Must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification, be able to pass the lifeguarding skills test and have a current ARC Water Safety Instructor certification.

Assistant Head Guard: Must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification, be able to pass the lifeguarding skills test and have a current ARC Water Safety Instructor certification. Must have two or more seasons experience of lifeguarding and teaching swimming plus proven ability to lead/supervise staff.

Head Guard: Must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification and have a current ARC Water Safety Instructor Certification. Must have two or more seasons experience of lifeguarding and teaching swimming plus proven ability to lead/supervise staff and assist in-service training of staff.

Supervisor: Must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor/Trainer Certification; and have a current ARC Water Safety Instructor certification. Must have three or more seasons experience of lifeguarding and teaching swimming plus proven ability to lead, supervise and train staff.

Arson Investigator, Forsyth County Fire Department

Vocational/Technical degree with training emphasis in Fire Science and investigation; five (5) years previous experience and/or training that includes arson investigation, fire/building inspection, fire service management, fire safety, prevention, and suppression methods; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and/or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) including appropriate level/endorsement(s).  

Must meet all promotional eligibility requirements and certifications. Must attain and maintain valid Georgia Fire Academy certifications which are accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or Georgia state licenses including Firefighter I, First Responder, Georgia certified Fire-Arson Investigator, Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) as a Police Officer, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications.
