New Montessori Schools Opens in Cumming

Stepping Stone Montessori is proud to be a part of the Cumming community, offering high-quality Montessori education.

"The school's teachers work alongside the children in discovering and exploring the world in a respectful, collaborative manner," says Aparna Banka of Stepping Stone Montessori. "The classrooms are prepared with concrete, hands-on materials designed to appeal to the children’s interest during each stage of development. In this environment, children learn through curiosity, exploration, and experience."

The classrooms are multi-age: Infant classes for the ages of 6 weeks to 15 months; Toddler classes for the ages of 16 months to 3 years; and Primary 
classes for the ages of 3 years to 6 years.

"Our school includes eight beautifully prepared classrooms, a large community room, and an outdoor play area including four playgrounds with age appropriate play-sets and swing-sets," Banka said. "Stepping Stone Montessori will also provide various quality enrichment programs, such as, playball and Spanish classes." 

Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Stepping Stone Montessori is located at 820 Sanders Road in Cumming, which is at the intersection of Buford Dam Road and Sanders Road.
