Pollo Tropical To Open Restaurant in Cumming

Pollo Tropical, famous for its flame grilled chicken and other fresh Caribbean favorites, is opening its fifth Atlanta location on Friday, Oct. 25, in Cumming at 1510 Market Place Boulevard, according to a press release.

The Cumming community will celebrate the newest Pollo Tropical opening with a 12-Hour Beach Party—turning thoughts of falling leaves into frolicking palm fronds, island music, beach games, and, of course, delicious food from the tropics!

One lucky Grand Opening Beach Party attendee will win free Pollo Tropical for a year!* Participants are urged to arrive as early as 8 a.m. to be among the first 100 guests in line for the restaurant’s 10:30 a.m. opening.

Participants must be present to win, and the drawing and winner announcement take place at 11:00 a.m.

The new Pollo Tropical location features the famous Pollo Tropical Citrus Marinated Grilled Chicken, Create Your Own TropiChop Bowls, savory Mojo Roast Pork, and Guava BBQ Riblets.

To top off its tropical menu offerings, the Pollo Tropical Salsa Bar is stocked with a variety of unique and tempting sauces, including Spicy Poyo Poyo, Cilantro Garlic, Fresh Salsa, Salsa Fuego, Curry Mustard, Guava BBQ and more. 

The new location also features the “Pollo on the Go” drive-thru.

Opening daily at 10:30 a.m., it's in the Cumming Marketplace, just off of Highway 400 at the Bufordn Road exit. Other Atlanta area Pollo Tropical restaurants are located at in nearby Alpharetta, Lawrenceville and Cobb County.

“We are both excited and proud to serve our unique variety of Caribbean-inspired food for a great value in the community of Cumming,” Pollo Tropical Chief Operating Officer Danny Meisenheimer said in the release. “As this is our fifth location in Atlanta, it will bring to our guests added convenience and accessibility in this region, with more to come.”

All of the Cumming Pollo Tropical Grand Opening Beach Party activities take place Friday, Oct. 25, at the new Pollo Tropical location at 1510 Market Place Boulevard.
