Accepting Applications for the Forsyth March for Babies Ambassador

We are now accepting accplications for our 2015 Forsyth March for Babies Special Ambassador. For more information email Michele at mbeal@marchofdimes.com.

Since 1946, the March of Dimes has identified a child to represent the organization to the American public, developing what became known as its “poster child.” During the Foundation’s polio campaign, the poster child was stricken with polio.

Today the Special Ambassador Program is an annual campaign that puts a face on the March of Dimes mission. The Special Ambassador is a child who was helped by March of Dimes-funded research, programs, advocacy, or educational campaigns. The Special Ambassador plays a vital role in promoting March for Babies and the Foundation’s mission to give every baby a healthy start.  The March of Dimes is a diverse organization, so we strive to make sure the Special Ambassador Program represents the communities we serve.
