Hiring Drivers who move furniture. CDL not required, but preferred.

We are presently hiring Drivers who are also movers. All applicants will initially start out as a mover’s helper but will be required to become a Driver and drive 26 foot automatic transmission moving truck within 1 week of beginning work.

As a Driver/Mover, you'll partner together with our experienced crews to provide the same professional customer service experience we're known for in the handling of each and every one of our customer's possessions. This position provides an opportunity for those looking to display their general labor, marketing, problem solving, and customer service skills. Our goal is 100% client satisfaction with each and every service that we perform.

Responsibilities include:

*Correctly and safely moving furniture and household items, as well as padding, packing and unpacking

*Supervision of staff

*Performing disassembly and reassembly of furniture as needed

*Completing a walk through with clients upon arrival and completion of job as well as correctly completing client paperwork according to state regulations

*Completing accurate daily truck inventory and daily truck safety inspections

*Perform onsite estimates of homes and businesses

*Attending expos, distribution of marketing material to the public

The ideal candidate will communicate professionally in English to clients and well as utilize basic math skills and cognitive logic, as well as the ability to continuously lift heavy items (approximately 30-90 pounds) while standing, sitting, crouching, climbing, walking, etc.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate stamina throughout the day and should be in excellent health, and will demonstrate excellent hand/eye coordination.

Previous professional moving experience is not required, but is preferred.

No matter what your background is, we seek dependability, stamina, a "can do" attitude, availability to work on short notice, and a desire to learn and work in a safe manor.

We pay our employees more than industry average because we expect more. Earn up to $36 per hour. Guaranteed base pay is $12.50 per hour for Drivers, more with proper experience.

Helpers earn $10.00 per hour.

Daily production bonuses, tips, and overtime for a moving project lasting over 8 hours are among several of the unique benefits exclusively available to associates at Pair Of Guys Movers. It is not necessary to work 40+ hours in a week in order to activate overtime.

All employees will also play an active role in marketing via distribution of our marketing materials.

$20 referral bonuses are paid for each new business serviced by our company.

To be a driver, you must have driving experience operating large straight trucks or similar, a current DOT card, and a 7 year clean motor vehicle report. Class C licenses are ok. CDL licenses are preferred but not required.

It is preferred that applicants live within 25 miles from our headquarters in Cumming.

All candidates must have their own reliable transportation to get to and from work, a cell phone, have at minimum a high school education, GED or equivalent, be able to pass drug testing at any time, and have a valid drivers license.
