Looking for a place to live

Common sensed (and could possibly be homeless if I don't find a place soon) single female (51 yrs old)  looking for a SAFE and DECENT place to live.  Due to budgetary constraints, the economy and current national deficit, my price range hovers around the 300-350 mark - and that will need to include all utilities.  
Also included in my life package are two senior cats who are (also) looking for a safe and decent place to retire.  Both are house trained, as am I - neither are partiers, as I also am not - and both would be grateful to just have a safe place to call home, as I would.

Basement rooms/apts will be given first preference.
