Join environmental experts Chattahoochee Riverkeeper for a tour of Lake Lanier on Saturday, May 24.

Join Chattahoochee Riverkeeper for a special tour of Lake Lanier aboard the Chota Princess II, our 40-foot catamaran, as part of our watershed outings program.

The tour will take place Memorial Day weekend on May 24. And, it's the perfect opportunity to relax on the lake, while learning great information from environmental experts.

Passengers will learn about the lake's history, uses and current water quality, as well as issues that directly impact Lake Lanier and the Chattahoochee River. Participants also will learn how to take quality water samples.

The boat will depart from Aqualand Marina at 10 a.m. and return to the dock at 12:30 p.m. We will head south to Buford Dam and circle Lake Lanier Islands. Riverkeeper Sally Bethea and Jason Ulselth, CRK's technical programs director will lead.

REGISTER HERE.
Registration is $15 for adults and $5 children (general public), and $10 adults and $5 children (CRK members).
