Casey Anthony Found Not Guilty of Murder

Casey Anthony has been acquitted of first-degree murder in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. But was convicted on misdemeanor charges of lying to police.

An Orlando, Florida, jury has ruled Casey Anthony not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee (see story).

The jury found her guilty of four misdemeanor counts of lying to police. Anthony's sentencing for those charges is 9 a.m. on Thursday, for which she could face up to one year in prison for each charge.

The jury deliberated for 11 hours after the six-week trial.
