Casting Call for Foodies Looking to Get Their Favorite Dish on Store Shelves

New reality show looking to help get your food product to the market.

The creators of Undercover Boss and Project Runway are looking for the next big food find. If you’re a creative home cook or food entrepreneur, this could be your big shot – not just to get your dish on TV, but also to get it on shelves in national supermarket chains. The new reality competition promises to give the winner a prize that will do just that, according to a press release.

“Are your friends and family constantly begging you to make that special dish? Do you have a special recipe no one can touch? Have you invented a completely new type of food item? Do people tell you your product should be lining supermarket shelves and making millions?” the press release reads. “If you have a great culinary idea (i.e. a baked good, sauce, frozen food, etc.) then here is your chance to get your product on supermarket shelves with one of the biggest chains in the world today!”

The open casting calls will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct 14 at W. Atlanta Midtown, 188 14th Street NE, Atlanta. If you feel you’re just the person for this opportunity, visit the website at www.supermarketcasting.com for the details on how to register for the casting call or how to submit a home video.
