Cats, Dogs Need Forever Home in Forsyth

The Humane Society of Forsyth County has four pets — two dogs and two cats — up for adoption.

Tom is a a dashingly handsome seven year old domestic short-haired orange male cat. He is as sweet as can be and just can't get enough attention! He loves to play and be pampered: having his fur brushed is one of his all-time favorite things!

He is looking for his forever home... are you the prefect one for him?

Michelle is a sweet little thirteen week old gray domestic short-haired kitten with so much love to give. She is playful, affectionate and adorable. She is the prefect kitten! As you can see she will even lend a helping paw in the kitchen. She would love to be a part of your family and be cherished and spoiled.

Simon is a Lab/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with an estimated date-of-birth of Oct. 15, 2011. If you're a runner or a jogger, Simon might be the dog you're looking for! He is young and very energetic. He has been with humane society for a while and he gets very excited when he receives attention or gets to go outside. He would be too rambunctious for a home with young children. Simon has a lot of love to give, but he'll need someone with patience, who can give him proper training and the love he needs. Simon has been in our program for far too long. It is his turn to find his forever home.

Cookie is a female Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated DOB of Oct. 5, 2011. She is a sweetheart of a dog when it comes to people. However, she likes to be the center of attention and would not do well in a home with other animals. If you give her a chance, you will not be let down. She will fill your family with the love and loyalty only a dog can give.

Become a Foster Parent:

The following information is from the HSFC website .

A favorite quote from one of our board members is,

We are only limited in the number of animals we can help by three things: money, volunteers and space.

A strong Foster Program addresses the space limitation. We receive new calls daily from owners needing to surrender their pets, kind hearted individuals who have taken in a stray, and caring animal control workers hoping to avoid euthanizing dogs or cats in their overcrowded county shelters. A strong Foster Program addresses the space limitation and saves lives.
