Four Sweet Babies Need a New Adoptive Home

The Humane Society of Forsyth County has four more pets up for adoption.

Mindy is a terrific tortie! She is not only pretty, but also very sweet. She's a bit mischievous and very curious and loves to explore!  She gets along okay with other cats and dogs, but if there are too many she gets nervous. She tends to be bullied by them. She is a loving, affectionate girl who is looking for her forever home. She is currently in a nice foster home where she is learning how to be a great house cat, but she needs a home of my very own and a family that give her the love she needs and deserves. Call the shelter and set up a time with her foster parent for a meet and greet. You won't be disappointed; She is Miss Personality, and quite irresistible!

Root Beer is a sweet young boy who is always the first one to greet visitors to his room at the shelter. He loves when people come to visit! He rubs up against them and meow until they pat him. He also loves to play, and he gets along great with the other cats in the room. He has so much love to give and is just waiting for his forever home. He would be the perfect cat for you.  Just come by the shelter to meet him, and you'll soon see why!

Annette is a female Lab/Golden Retriever mix with an estimated date of March 27, 2006. Annette is a sweet older dog. She has difficulty walking and getting around. Annette wants to play with her friends, but her body does not allow her to do it anymore. She is great with people. She needs a home where she can relax. Annette is not a fan of cats. She is wonderful with all people and other dogs.

Train is a male American Staffordshire Terrier/Great Dane mix with an estimated date of birth of Aug. 7, 2011. He was abandoned at a veterinarian's office last year. He's been through a lot of trauma and needs a very special foster home. He is great with kids, dogs, and even cats! Please call Jennifer at the humane society at 770-887-6480 if you would like to foster or give him his forever home that he so desperately deserves.

The following information is from the HSFC website .

A favorite quote from one of our board members is,

We are only limited in the number of animals we can help by three things: money, volunteers and space.

A strong Foster Program addresses the space limitation. We receive new calls daily from owners needing to surrender their pets, kind hearted individuals who have taken in a stray, and caring animal control workers hoping to avoid euthanizing dogs or cats in their overcrowded county shelters. A strong Foster Program addresses the space limitation and saves lives.
