Groom-to-Be, $7 Million Richer

A Hall County man and his girlfriend may now get the wedding of their dreams.

Cody Locantro of nearby Gainesville was selected as a winner from the Oct. 30 $7 Million Jackpot Extra Chance Promotion, winning a $7 million prize, according to a press release.

Locantro, 35, and a groom-to-be, plans to wed his longtime girlfriend.

“We’re engaged, but we haven’t set a date,” he said.

Family and friends called Locantro to share the good news following the results of the televised drawing.

“I didn’t believe it,” he said. “It’s a lot to take in.”

Locantro, who works at a manufacturing plant, anticipates planning for his family’s future.

“We have a 3-year-old son, so I want to set up a trust fund for school,” he said.

Locantro was presented with an oversized check by Georgia Lottery representatives Thursday at the corporation's district office in Duluth.

"To win $7 million dollars feel great," he said. "I'm very humbled."

Aside from investing his winnings, Locantro plans to buy a new home and car for he and his finace'.

Georgia Lottery players submitted non-winning tickets from the instant game $7 Million Jackpot for entry into the drawing.

I was going to ask the same thing about the jobs. I really liked the job search engine that wasRead More included before the format change. The link you provided is okay, but I liked being able to see what's available in other places and being able to narrow the search as well. You said "you can always find it under "Business"". Where? I don't see it. To be honest, I don't really care for the new website layout. I had only recently found Cumming Patch and was really enjoying it. I'm not sure I'll continue visiting. The new layout is not easy to navigate. The dropdowns that used to be in the menu were really nice so that you could go directly to what you were looking for.
