Lot's of Loot For Tonight's Lottery
The estimated amount is $355 million, the second largest in the history of Mega Millions.
Are you feeling lucky? Someone, somewhere may find themselves $355 million richer (before taxes) if they match all six numbers in tonight's Mega Millions Lottery drawing.
In a company statement released today, Georgia Lottery Corp. President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco said, "With tickets selling at a brisk pace, we have raised the Mega Millions jackpot."
"This is great news because increased sales translate into additional dollars for the HOPE Scholarship and Pre-K programs we fund," DeFrancisco said.

According to the statement, since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $12.1 billion to the state of Georgia for education from games like Mega Millions and other Georgia Lottery games. More than 1.25 million students received HOPE, and more than 1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
Tonight's Mega Millions drawing is at 11 p.m. ET and the odds of winning the jackpot prize is approximately 1:175 million.
