Man In Critical Condition After Early Morning Shooting Near Midtown

A 22-year-old man is reportedly in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital after being attacked and shot in a parking lot near Midtown early Thursday morning.

According to Atlanta Police spokesperson Kim Jones, at around 12:40 a.m. two men were looking for their car parked at the Cityscape at Midtown apartments when they were approached by two men. Visit Midtown Patch for more on this story.

Pit Bull Mauls 5-Year-Old Girl in Griffin

A 5-year-old girl that was attacked by a pit bull Wednesday is recovering at an area hospital.

Police say they were forced to shoot and kill the dog. Two neighbors, Dewayne Warner and Nicholas White, said that they heard screams and saw three dogs attacking the girl in her backyard. Visit My Fox Atlanta for more on this story.

Deputy Wounded, Suspect Killed In Clayton County Shootout

A Clayton County sheriff’s deputy was wounded and a suspect killed Thursday morning in a shootout near Jonesboro High School.
