Marietta Cop Cab Combats Drinking and Driving - Marietta Patch
The Marietta Police Department has launched a new campaign called “Cop Cab” to curb drinking and driving. The Cop Cab campaign visually combines the efforts of DUI education and the inevitable end result of DUI enforcement.

"It’s an educational tool we are using to try to prevent drinking and driving," Marietta Police Officer David Baldwin said. "If we talk in a seminar, we reach a small group of people in the scheme of things, but with the Cop Cab, we can put it out in high profile areas like in the Square. Police Investigate Cemetery Vandalism – Decatur Patch
Decatur police are trying to find out who spray painted racial and anti-Semitic slurs and obscenities on the gazebo, roadway and a wall at the Decatur City Cemetery.
The vandalism was discovered Saturday morning by a cemetery worker preparing for a service, said Joy Knight of the cemetery office. It included drawings of a devil face, sex organs, references to Satan and racial and anti-Semitic slurs, the police report stated. Decatur Patch has more on the story.
