Northside Hospital-Forsyth Named Primary Stroke Center

Hospital earns certification from the Joint Commission.

Northside Hospital-Forsyth has earned a full two-year Advanced Certification for Primary Stroke Centers by The Joint Commission (TJC). And it's not the first time the hospital has received the honor.

"We are honored that our Stroke Care Program has achieved this distinction from The Joint Commission," said Skip Putnam, CEO of Northside Hospital-Forsyth, in a press release.  "It celebrates the hard work of our staff and recognizes our commitment to excellence and to providing the best possible care to our patients and our community."

The Joint Commission is a not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies health care organizations and programs in the United States.
