The troubled superstar singer was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Saturday.
Superstar singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California Saturday night, according to CNN. The cause of her death is not immediately known, but local police did say there were "no obvious signs of criminal intent." Authorities pronounced her dead at 3:55 p.m. (6:55 p.m. EST) Saturday.
The 48-year-old singer sold more than 170 million albums, singles and videos, also struggled with drugs and alcohol throughout the years.
