Tornado Watch Extended In Forsyth County

A tornado watch for Forsyth County has been extended until 8 a.m.

A tornado watch has been extended until 8 a.m. for Forsyth County and at least 85 other counties in the state according to the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK.

A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

The forecast for the overnight, showers and thunderstorms with a low around 59, chance of rain is 90 percent. Later today showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m. and a high near 71, chance of rain is 80 percent.
