Canton Police Identify Body Found Behind Marketplace - Canton-Sixes Patch

The Canton Police Department has identified the young man whose body was discovered behind the Canton Marketplace Sunday morning.

13-Year-Old Charged in Baby's Death

A Cobb County teenager has been charged in the death of her newborn baby found buried in a shoebox Wednesday, police told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The 13-year-old was arrested Thursday at her home and charged with felony murder, first-degree cruelty to a child, and concealing a death, said Cobb County Police spokesman Officer Mike Bowman. Read more on South Cobb Patch.

According to multiple reports, Stanley Keith Johnson, a transportation field coordinator with the school district, was charged by federal officials on Tuesday. . 


Naked Man Reportedly Found Dancing in the Streets Faces Charges

Oconee County Sheriff's deputies Wednesday arrested a Watkinsville man in connection with an incident Sunday in which he had reportedly been dancing naked in the roadway.
