Forsyth Business Owner Announces Run for Commissioner

He is seeking the District 3 seat currently held by Todd Levent.

Editor's Note: The following is a press release from the campaign for David Hole for Forsyth County Commissioner. He is seeking the seat currently held by Todd Levent.

David W. Hole announced today his intention to seek election to the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners in District 3.

"I am running for commissioner because District 3 deserves better,” Hole said in a press release. “Our citizens are our community’s greatest resource and for too long our voices have been ignored by big business, special interests and those looking to exploit their position and seek higher office.”

As an active member of our community and a coach for more than 18 years at Midway Park, Hole understands the importance of community service, according to his press release.

“Both on and off the playing field, I hear parents and taxpayers voice their concerns about the direction of our community,” said Hole. “It is time we begin solving the problems plaguing families and businesses—it’s time to take action and stop the political pandering.”

Hole said he does not consider himself connected to any particular political camp, but rather as someone who can appeal to all residents.

“I am prepared to make the tough decisions to create sustainable jobs, improve our roads, clean up code violations, embrace smart growth and promote fiscal responsibility in our local government” said Hole. “These are issues that are important to every resident of district three.”

Hole, a 1984 graduate of Milton High School and a 1988 graduate of Auburn University, has owned and operated a successful small business for more than 25 years.

He and his wife, Kem, reside in South Forsyth, where they are the proud parents of three children educated in Forsyth County Schools. The family worships at Browns Bridge Community Church.
