Forsyth County Early Voting Expands

Five sites across Forsyth County are now taking early votes.

The early voting period for runoff elections in Forsyth County ends on July 18, but county residents can now vote early at several different polling places such as Cumming City Hall.

When the early voting period opened on June 30, Forsyth voters could only cast their ballots at the Forsyth County Administration Building in Cumming. Now that advance voting is entering its final week, four more sites are available for use. They are:


Each building, including the County Administration Building, will be open at 8 a.m. Monday - Friday to accommodate early voters. The polls will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. 

Voters can cast their ballots on runoff elections including Forsyth County Solicitor General, State Senate District 27 seat, and State House of Representatives District 22 seat.

Only residents in the Brandywine, Polo and Midway areas will cast votes for the House seat, Forsyth County News reports.

Election Day is July 22 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., but voters must vote at their assigned polling places on that Tuesday.
