Forsyth County Republican Party to Conduct Debate Series

The Forsyth County GOP invites all to schedule time to see the candidates debate in its unique format and to learn how the candidates plan to address issues important to you.

From the Forsyth County Republican party:

The Forsyth County Republican party regrets that not all Republican Primary Candidates will participate in our 2014 debate series.

The Forsyth County Republican Party was surprised to learn this week that Solicitor General Donna Gopaul decided not to participate in the Republican Party debates. The Forsyth County Solicitor General debate will continue without Gopaul.

The Forsyth County Commissioner District 3 debate has been cancelled. We could not find a date for the debate that worked for both Todd Levent and David Hole. To be fair to Commissioner Levent, the decision to end efforts to find a suitable date was made by the Hole campaign.

We respect the time limitations that realistically impact all campaigns, but we believe participation in the Republican Party debates should be a top priority for all Republican candidates who wish to represent our party in the general election.
